東京マラソン2025チャリティ2025.04.22

2月27日~3月1日に東京マラソンEXPO 2025、3月2日に東京マラソン2025 へ、寄付先団体として参加しました!

フレンズ・ウィズアウト・ア・ボーダーJAPAN は、東京マラソン2025チャリティの寄付先団体です。今年は25か国から総勢102名の方が、フレンズ・ウィズアウト・ア・ボーダーJAPANのチャリティランナーとして走って下さいました！また、寄付のみのご支援として、国内と海外合わせて2名のサポーター様より、ご支援もいただきました。

東京マラソンEXPO 2025ではチャリティブースを出展し、オリジナルTシャツと手書きのメッセージカードをお渡ししました！ランナーの皆さんと写真を撮ったり、チャリティランナーとしての想いを聞くことができ、とても印象深い時間でした。加えて、今年からはボランティアの方向けに、団体の活動を紹介するブースも設け、こちらも多くの方にお立ち寄りいただきました。

そして迎えた、マラソン当日。私たちは手作りのうちわで、沿道から応援しました！チャリティランナーの皆さんが懸命に走る姿に、胸が熱くなりました。中には、プレゼントしたオリジナルTシャツを着て走ってくださる方もいらっしゃり、一体感を感じました。

また、認定 NPO 法人シャプラニール=市民による海外協力の会さんと協力し、個別ラウンジを設けました。ランナーの皆さんは、フルーツや日本のスナックを楽しみながら、ご家族やスタッフと和気あいあいと過ごしていました。さらにフレンズのチャリティアンバサダー・鳥光健仁さんによるマッサージで、完走したランナーの皆さんにリフレッシュしていただきました。

東京マラソン2025チャリティを通じて、たくさんの方とつながり、チャリティの輪が広がるのを実感しました。これからも活動を知ってもらい、支援の輪を広げていけたらと思います。フレンズを選びランナーとして走って下さった皆さま、そして、EXPO から大会当日までサポートいただいたボランティアの皆さま、ありがとうございました。

We, Friends Without A Border Japan, participated as a charity organization in the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2025 from 27 February to 1 March and the Tokyo Marathon 2025 on 2 March! This year, we had 102 charity runners and received generous donation from 2 supporters for the Lao Friends Hospital for Children!

At the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2025, we set up a charity booth, where we handed out original T-shirts and handwritten message cards! It was a heartwarming experience to take pictures with the runners and hear their thoughts. In addition, this year, we also set up a booth for volunteers to introduce the activities of the organization, and many people stopped by.

Then came the day of the marathon! We lined the streets with handmade cheering paper fans, shouting words of encouragement to our runners. Some even wore the T-shirts we had given them, creating a strong sense of unity.

We also set up a private lounge in cooperation with the SHAPLA NEER= Citizens’ Committee in Japan for Overseas Support. Runners enjoyed eating fruits and Japanese snacks while spending time in a casual atmosphere with their families and staff.

After the race, our charity ambassador Takenori Torimitsu provided refreshing massages to help the runners recover.

Through this event, we connected with many people and felt the expanding network of charity. We hope that our activities will gain awareness and broaden. Thank you to all our charity runners for the Tokyo Marathon 2025. And thanks to all our volunteers for your support!
